What is TrueBand?

TrueBand is a family of Internet services available from the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC). NRTC's mission is to bring advanced telecommunications to rural America through our members, rural electric and telephone utilities.

What sets TrueBand apart from its competitors?

You own your business and your customers. We do not resell your customer names or market directly to them without your permission.
You maintain your own local brand. Your ISP service is branded locally to take advantage of your excellent reputation in your community
You retain more revenue. Because TrueBand is offered through your national cooperative, you benefit from the pricing benefits of aggregation. When NRTC negotiates lower rates with our vendors and partners, we can pass on the savings to you.

We created TrueBand Internet Services to provide a family of Internet access and Web tools to our members. Choose some or all of our access services.

Offer your customers a variety of ways to connect to the Internet. Let them choose the one that fits their lifestyle.
Give businesses in your area tools to help them make the most of an online presence, including "mail-at-your domain," Web hosting, and high-speed Internet access.
Provide top-notch technical support branded to your utility.

I want to provide TrueBand Internet Services in my community. How do I get involved?

Great! NRTC is committed to helping rural electric and telephone utilities strengthen their businesses with solutions uniquely suited to the needs of their customers. To bring TrueBand Internet Services to your community, you'll need to join NRTC.

NRTC membership is available to rural electric or telephone cooperatives. We are not designed to directly serve other types of businesses or consumers; we provide our members with the tools they need to bring telecom technologies to their communities.
